How can AT help with anxiety and depression?

I often call AT applied mindfulness.

AT works with the awareness of sensations in your body. Doing this awakens synapses within your nervous system. The AT will lift your body (and with it, your mind) out of a collapsed state and into a state where there is space for light and hope.

There is no pressure to get anything ‘right’ with the AT - just learning to recognise and let go of things that pull you down. There will be up days and down days but AT gives you a constant to hold on to. Practical and simple, it can help you to handle and manage anxiety, depression and more.
